Communauto is an Android-based car-sharing app that provides access to more than 2,700 vehicles in 15 cities, including Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, and Paris. The platform offers one-way, round-trip, and free-floating car-sharing services at an affordable cost, which includes gas, insurance, and maintenance.
With the Communauto app, you can easily locate nearby cars, reserve or block the vehicle, and lock and unlock the car. The app also provides you with essential information about the vehicle, including the model, number, and location. You can modify, extend, or cancel a reservation as per your convenience. Additionally, the app enables you to geolocate your current reservation and view the cost of your trips instantly.
Communauto app also allows you to park and release the car in parking meter spaces downtown (Montreal only). Not only that, but the app also lets you activate the credit card available in the glove compartment or submit your receipt to be reimbursed (available in specific cities).
